Chatty Connector Privacy

This page supplements the Chatty Privacy Policy with what is specific to the Chatty Connector for AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients). Everything that Policy says also applies to the Connector.

1. What data the Connector processes

  • To sign in: the email address and name of the Google account the User signs in with (through Auth0), and the Chatty company they choose to connect.
  • To answer each request from the assistant: the information from the Chatty account that the request needs, for example WhatsApp chats and messages, contacts, tags, pipelines, templates, campaigns and ad results.

2. What it stores and what it doesn't

  • It doesn't store conversations. The Connector reads the information from Chatty at the time of each request and hands it to the assistant. The information stays stored where it already was, on the Chatty platform.
  • It stores, for a short time, technical data to work faster, such as the status of the WhatsApp connection or of the subscription (up to 24 hours).
  • It logs how it's used: which tool was called, whether it worked, how long it took, the date and, if it failed, a short technical message. This log does not include what the User asked the assistant or the content of the messages. It is used to provide support, measure the use of each plan and improve the service.

3. The AI assistant

The information the Connector gives the assistant is processed by that assistant's provider (for example, Anthropic or OpenAI) under its own policies and the settings of the User's account. Chatty does not receive or store the conversations the User has with their assistant.

4. Model training

Chatty does not use the information the Connector accesses to train artificial intelligence models.

5. Providers

In addition to those mentioned in the Privacy Policy (Amazon Web Services, MongoDB Atlas, Auth0 and Meta), the Connector uses:

  • Railway, where the Connector's server runs.
  • Google, for sign-in.
  • Stripe, to charge for the plans. Chatty does not receive or store card details.

6. Rights and contact

The User can disconnect the Connector from their assistant at any time, and request access to, correction of or deletion of their data by writing to info@letschatty.com.
